Workflow Diagram for Windows Agent Monitoring




STEP 1 -  Download and install the Cloudmon agent installer from here​. And also,verify whether the installed agent has been auto-discovered in the ​
cloudmon  portal.​
STEP 2 - Refer the following Link for detailed instructions on adding metrics(such as CPU usage,Memory Usage, Disk Usage etc..) for monitoring and setting polling intervals for the agents you wish to monitor​
STEP 3 - Refer the following Link for instructions on creating an alarm rule to receive alerts in case if something goes wrong.​
STEP 4 -  Visit the following  Link  for guidance on setting up notifiers in Cloudmon. You can later associate these notifiers with an alarm rule if you wish to receive notifications for the alerts
STEP 5 - Adding a tag to an agent is not mandatory; however, if you wish to group agents or uniquely identify them based on groups, such as department, location, asset type, etc., you can follow the instructions given in the following Link
STEP 6 -  By default, we used to assign an agent to the default user; however, you can change it to another user or assign one or more users along with the default user whom you wish to notify about this agent. Then, you can assign this agent to them by using the steps provided in the following Link
