How to monitor a Network Device– Agentless Monitoring with default profile



STEP 1 -  It is a prerequisite to have SNMP credentials for monitoring a network device via SNMP. Follow the instructions provided in the Link to add the SNMP Credential.​
STEP 2 -  Refer the following Link to know how to add a network device. Ensure that you select the Monitoring template as the default while adding the network device, which will fetch the system metrics available in the host MIB of the network device.​
STEP 3 - Refer the following Link  for instructions on creating an alarm rule to receive alerts in case if something goes wrong.​
STEP 4- Visit the following  Link   for guidance on setting up notifiers in Cloudmon. You can later associate these notifiers with an alarm rule if you wish to receive notifications for the alerts
STEP 5 -  Adding a tag to the Network device is not mandatory; however, if you wish to group agents or uniquely identify them based on groups, such as department, location,etc., you can follow the instructions given in the following ​.Link
STEP 6 -  By default, we used to assign a network device to the default user; however, you can change it to another user or assign one or more users along with the default user whom you wish to notify about this network device. Then, you can assign this network device to them by using the steps provided in the following Link
