How does Cloudmon collect data?

How does Cloudmon collect data?

Cloudmon supports monitoring in both agent and agent-less modes. In the agent-based approach, the Cloudmon Controller retrieves server and host metrics through Cloudmon Agents installed on servers (Linux and Windows) and hosts. In the case of agent-less monitoring, Cloudmon uses SNMP protocol to collect data and send it to Cloudmon Controller. For IP monitoring, Cloudmon uses protocols like ICMP & TCP to collect network KPIs and send it to Cloudmon Controller. With respect to NTM, it is not agent-based; instead, it monitors the traffic of NetFlow-enabled devices by adding those devices as 'Flow exporters' to the controller.
