Can Cloudmon monitor Performance, Availability, and Bandwidth of IP Endpoints?
Yes, Cloudmon monitors the performance and availability of IP Endpoints. It uses synthetic monitoring – either ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol) or TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) to monitor availability, latency, jitter, packet loss, and trace path.
Cloudmon also provides insights into the performance of the intervening network. However, the bandwidth used by IP Endpoints cannot be monitored within Cloudmon, though it can be for network nodes and devices within the organization.
